The Problems

Poverty, malnutrition, and inadequate health care, exacerbated by seasonal flooding lead

to:

Debilitating blindness that
is a burden to the families

To rebuild houses after heavy floods

The Pains that we carried in our childhood during the war time have been transformed to the fruit of understanding and love, helping us to engage our lives into the lives of poor and suffering people. It became our priority. If you think sharing your love is the way to enhance your living and others, please stand with us to make life better.

Vietnamese rural and seacoast residences face tough living conditions. The lack of clothes, food, medicine, plus annual flooding catastrophies have caused a lot of problems. Using pond water for everyday living as a result of the floods is dangerous and has caused so much sickness. Many children and adults have developed eye problems, malnutrition, and other sicknesses. The number of cataract patients in rural Vietnam is huge.

Need to support orphans and those with birth defects

Many illnesses have developed into deadly diseases because people cannot afford to have a medical examination. Poor conditions have led to leprosy as well, many of these patients suffer from lack of food, no place to live, some of them have to live in caves, in mountainous areas. In poor living conditions, families cannot afford to send their kids to school. Education in these villages is the only way that village children can lead meanigful lives and help their families as they grow up

Lack of opportunities for education

Why did we form such a team to do this charity work ?
At the end of the year 2000, heavy and tragic flooding took place over a large area in South Vietnam, especially the townships of Vinh Chau (Soc Trang province). At that time, the high number of people suffering from cataract problems attracted the attention of the aid teams. There were several calls for help and contributions at that time provided some solutions for poor people who cannot afford suitable medical care. In responding to these calls for help, the charity team made several trips to visit the patients, established patient lists and files, communicated with various hospitals and local clinics in order to organize eye operations to replace the lenses damaged by cataracts

To offer clothes and care for orphants

Need to support lepers, the disdabled and the elderly

Building wells to provide clean water for children in schools
